Little to say

I just got the new Angles And Airwaves album We Don't Need To Whisper and, and at first blush (I listened to it in the car on the way in to work this morning), like Tool's 10,000 Days, it is very reminiscent of earlier work (in this case, Blink 182's latest untitled album). And as for DeLonge's claims of this being "the best music made in decades", I don't think so. I am going to spend more time with it however and see what else I can make of it, but the anticipated "emotional power" just isn't there. More later.
