In Rememberance of...
You can't see tits on the radio
I'll give you five fingers for a one man show
Fasten those pants for the lap dance
Take a shot now this may be your last chance
-- Scissor Sisters "Tits on the Radio"
Besides being Easter Eve and Tax day, this past Saturday was the anniversary of the Titanic's fateful day. 94 years ago, April 15, the RMS Titanic sank on its way to New York. How did you celebrate this tragic anniversary? We performed the cerimonial rending, torching and sinking of a miniature cruise liner in the bath tub; filled with ice of course. Thing Two thought it pertinent to point out how silly it was for the men (here represented by green army men) to give up their seats to the women and children (represented by brown indians and jelly beans with smilies on them respectively) because of the equality they now have. I reminded him that this reinactment was not only from a different era but one with family values and morals. Not like now. He understood and moved on with his rendition of "The Cries of The Damned."
I feel it is important to teach The Things that just because it was so in the past, does not make it right in the present. African-Americans are no longer enslaved, women are no longer subserviant in the household, and men are no longer held to the ideals of chivalry or even gentlemanly behavior. This is truely an amazing time for us. We are no longer required to hold the door, pull out the chair, or even use polite language in the presense of or for a woman. They hate that stuff now. They want to be treated as equals so by God (sorry, we don't have to have God anymore either) King and Country, if some bitch pisses you off, pop her in the mouth just like you would if she had balls. After all, she might.
